WiN Japan is working to achieve carbon neutrality from a woman’s perspective and in her own words, especially for women and the next generation segment.
The Japanese government is considering the use of nuclear power whenever possible as a basic direction to achieve a green transformation toward a carbon neutral future. As a member of WiN Global, WiN Japan is also focusing on international activities and gender balance.
Suomi Ishibashi – The Federation of Electric Power Companies of Japan (FEPC)
Suomi has been working at Tokyo Electric Power Company since 1994 and currently serves as general manager of the public relations department at FEPC. She specializes in nuclear communications. Recognized for her leadership as a long-standing executive of WiN-Japan, she was elected President of WiN-Japan at the May 2024 general assembly. During her tenure, she aims to increase membership and promote the active involvement of young professionals.
