On 21 January, WiN Global officially relaunched one of its most strategic initiatives: the WiN Global Groups of Expertise, ushering in a renewed model designed to strengthen collaboration, inclusiveness, and innovation across the global network.

Under the theme “Nuclear Energy for New Challenges,” the conference will bring together women professionals, leaders, and advocates from around the world to exchange knowledge, strengthen collaboration, and advance dialogue on the essential role of nuclear technologies in a sustainable future.

WiN Switzerland will host the second edition of WiN Global’s European signature event series in 2026, building on the strong momentum of the inaugural regional gathering in Madrid. The event will offer a dynamic platform for meaningful exchange on innovation, excellence, and the future of nuclear energy in Europe.

Last February 16th, the WiN Global community embarked on an enriching journey with the official launch of the highly anticipated global Mentoring Programme.

As an organization deeply committed to addressing global challenges, WiN Global has taken proactive steps to tackle climate change through various events, initiatives and communications.

Women in Nuclear Decommissioning Iniciative (WiNDI) began its activities in 2021 with the aim of promoting and strengthening the involvement of women in the decommissioning field, in order to attract current and future talents to this innovate technology sector.

“When I attend industry events, I find the WiN events so compelling. Such great content and speakers; and I’ve had some of the best times socialising in nuclear at WiN events too – people love to get on the dancefloor at WiN in the US! I’ve met wonderful and thoughtful people, and not just women but male allies who are really trying to help make progress for women in this industry. I find that really progressive. I think WiN is a wonderful institution and I’m very proud to be part of it”.
